ERW steel pipe for introduction from common traits

ERW steel pipe is not strange for all of us once you are working on relative industries. With the two main categories of ERW, high-frequency (HF) and rotary contact wheel, we would like to talk about the application, benefits for this kind of tube.

Electric resistance welding (ERW) processes are available for tube and pipe production. While each process has different characteristics, all ERW processes have one thing in common–all of them produce a forged weld. This kind of weld is made by applying a combination of heat and pressure or forging force to the weld zone. With high quality welded ERW steel pipe, there is simultaneous application of circumferential pressure to the section. As the name implies, the heat generated by the weld power is a result of the material’s resistance to the flow of electrical current. The pressure comes from rolls that squeeze the tube into its finished shape.
