Chota Char Dham of Uttarakhand - A divine Journey to Moksha

It is one of the most popular places for Vishnu devotees to worship their idol here. As Badrinath Temple is located at a great height, the weather here is worth experiencing. You can also look forward to tackling the challenging weather as the temperature can go as low to zero degrees too sometimes. May-June and September-October are the peak season here in Badrinath.

Yamunotri: Yamunotri Temple is a beautiful and one of the most famous shrines of Char Dham. Dedicated to “Goddess Yamuna” this Dham would be the first you will be visiting on your Char Dham Trip. Located amidst the beautiful snow-capped mountains the sacred temple here was built by the King of Tehri in 1839. You will be filled with tranquility and your heart would be at utmost peace after seeking blessings at the Yamunotri Shrine.

Gangotri: The Gangotri Temple is believed to be the highest temple ever made and dedicated to Goddess Ganga. Gangotri Shrine holds a special significance in Hindu Mythology for its own reasons. Devotees around the country visit this holy temple to seek the blessings of Goddess Ganga.  It is believed that Gangotri is the spot where River Ganga entered Earth from Heaven. And it is also famous as it is also believed that Pandavas used to conduct the boundless Deva Yagna here.
