AIR 102 in CLAT Exam - Dreaming and Achieving by Siddharth Kothari

Life’s like a heartbeat; it has its ups and downs and even the straights, where everything feels dead. But then, it comes back to normal when someone or some dream pumps into you the energy to achieve your goals. I was always set towards doing law from a premier institute in India. I started preparing for CLAT in my 11^th standard and gave the exam for the first time in 2017. Unfortunately, I did not get the NLU of my choice and decided to take a drop year at the same institute, CLAT Prep, law entrance coaching in Jaipur. My drop year consisted of a monotonous life of just studying and giving mock tests. I felt about giving up at a lot of points in that year, but I did not. I had my dream to support me in this struggle. I gave the CLAT exam again in 2018 and secured an AIR of 102. I got into NALSAR University of Law Hyderabad.

My life in NALSAR has been amazing. NALSAR is bestowed with a great infrastructure, beautiful flora, highly intelligent teachers, and very reliable and helpful seniors. The day begins with a tasty breakfast followed by classes. The classes end in the evening and then different students go for different activities. One can see NALSARites in the gym, going out for walks, going out to eat, studying in the library, playing football and other sports in the stadium, or simply resting in their rooms after classes. The perk of having a residential campus is that you can easily bond with your batchmates and seniors anytime of the day, without any form of hesitation.

Each semester witnessed different fests and different celebrations. Even though it is just my second semester, the amount of fests that I have witnessed and the fun I have had is a lot. The college has a very well structured mooting culture with seniors and even the professors ready to assist you in any way possible. College life is hectic, but I manage to take out time for sports and going out with friends. NALSAR is simply amazing and my experience here, in this short period of time, has been great.
