A Bustling Events Calendar Awaits You At Ston Easton Park

by Liz Seyi Digital marketing manager

There are plenty of reasons why Ston Easton Park stands out even among the many fine Country House Hotels In The UK, including the magnificence of our 18th-century Palladian mansion itself, as well as the fine cuisine that we serve and the delightful surrounding grounds and gardens.

However, another powerful attraction of our luxury property in Somerset is simply the abundance of fascinating events that take place here throughout the year. Let’s introduce you to a few of them.

Experience our remarkable gardens and grounds

As the glorious British summer greets us once more and the talk in the media is of another ‘heatwave’, there could barely be a better time to pay a visit to one of the most charming, opulent and welcoming country house hotels in the UK.

We would certainly urge you to keep an eye out for our garden tours, for instance, as are led by our talented Head Gardener Steve Hargreaves. They afford you the opportunity to experience for yourself our 36 acres of enchanting parkland laid out by Humphry Repton, the last great 18th-century English landscape designer who is often regarded as the successor to Capability Brown.

In fact, not only does our impressive Victorian Kitchen Garden supply our kitchen with almost 60% of its fresh produce, but we are also the only hotel in the UK – that we are aware of – to grow our own loofahs! Our Annual Loofah Harvest Event is a particular highlight of our events calendar, with attendees learning how to skin and de-seed a loofah and taking one home to use in the bath. So popular has the event come, that it has even featured on BBC One!

A host of other captivating events

It is not only our gardens and parklands that provide a focal point for events here at Ston Easton Park. Other periodic events that we run include cookery demos, doggy days and history tours, while we also have a Wedding Open Evening coming up on 11th July and a networking evening with Bath Chamber of Commerce on 19th July.

Such events – as are further detailed in the relevant section of our site – demonstrate why we have become renowned as one of the liveliest and most interesting country house hotels in the UK. So, why not enquire about joining us at one of them one day?
