The palace was also utilized as a go-to summer residence by the Royal family as summers tend to be excruciatingly hot in Jaipur. To visit the palace, one needs to be present between 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Monkey Temple:

Galtaji is the place and one doesn’t require much time to reach. The place contains Kunds that are filled with natural spring water from the hills. Nahargarh Fort:

It forms a part of the defense ring that was utilized by the rulers of the past. The name of the fort stands for ‘the abode of tigers’. A fun fact is that this palace was the shooting spot for ‘Rang De Basanti’. From the fort, one can view spectacular sunsets along with the cityscape of Jaipur. A simple taxi from the city center will take a person to the fort.
