There are a lot of places in Jaipur itself which will give you that rich and authentic vibe.  If you are in Jaipur, you should definitely visit these places to dig into some Rajasthani food. So, unless you try the food over here you will not know that this place is completely a foodie paradise. So here are some of the most popular places to eat the famous and authentic food in the whole of Jaipur.


1.Spice Court

No matter whichever article or blog is written about the best food in Jaipur, this place is sure to come up in the minds of the writer. Spice Court stays true to its name and is the best place to go if you like really spicy dishes. So, you can order laal maas or jungle maas and you will love the fiery food. The mutton dish which is cooked with chilies and other spices is literally heaven when you devour it. Also, the dish is very heavy as it is cooked in oodles of ghee and oil. Also, there are a lot of spices added to it.

Spice Court also has this interesting dal baati churma version called keema baati. It is flour balls which are deep fried and stuffed with the spicy keema. It is very delicious and you should absolutely try it.

2.Chokhi Dhani

Chokhi Dhani which means Rajasthani culture.  Chokhi Dhani in Jaipur is one of the most popular tourist attraction. This is a resort which gives you all the experience of the Rajasthani culture. Once you enter the resort you will unknowingly fall in love with the culture and the people. So, if you do not know about Chokhi Dhani, it is a resort with a typical Rajasthani village setting. The whole theme of the resort is basically to showcase the rich side of a Rajasthani village. This was started in 1989 and was built with very unique architecture. Also, this reflects the grandeur of the Rajasthani tradition. If you want to visit CHokhi Dhani, you should definitely spend a whole day here. You will be amazed by the folk dances and all the shows. The houses are built like village huts and are decorated with wall paintings and cow dung plasters.  Also, the dinner at Chokhi Dhani is one of the best Rajasthani cuisines you will ever like. The dining place is called Sangria and you will love everything that is beings served to you. They serve you ina leaf platter to keep the experience realistic. Also, you will have a lot of dishes to try in here and some of them are really famous.

3.Natraj

When you are on a shopping splurge at Bapu Bazaar, you should definitely visit Natraj. This is a very good option for a thali lunch. Also, they offer thali from a great range of varieties.  You have to try the special Rajasthani Thali which is completely phenomenal. You will also love the dahi vadas, kachoris and chaat.

4.Rawat Misthan Bhandar

This is one such place where everyone can go because it is in the heart of the city. It is in Sindhi camp and everyone close to that area can easily visit this place. You will love the kachoris and other sweets here. It is quite crowded here all the time so it is better if you are only looking to have awesome food instead of a great ambiance place.

5.Shri Thaal Village Restaurant:

If you are looking for a perfect Chokhi Dhani alternative then so be it. This has all the Rajasthani dishes which can make your mouth water. You have the dal baati churma, kadi,gatte ki sabzi and also hot jalebis. The moment you step into the place, you will be asked to be seated on the floor. This is doe to make the experience realistic and authentic. Once you are seated comfortably, you can find yourself taking too many helpings of daal baati churma and other lip-smacking dishes.

6.Laksmi Misthan Bhandar:

A very famous sweet shop and restaurant in the Pink City, to have a sweet will take you at least 20 minutes here. Yes, it is that popular. On any given day, this is surely a great choice if you want to have some great North Indian delicacies. You should try ghevar which is a crisp and flaky sweet that is made from milk.
