Article 2 of 3 ~ Building a Simple Webpage with basic html and the help of a wysiwyg

Build a webpage from scratch.

I've never taken the time to do this...except in the full blown website builders where you have a free page/website that provides all the tools and whistles. I've been able to insert some very basic html for urls and text changes like color or font size for a while now and in the process the reading of what is basically nonsensical jargon for us newbies has become much easier.

Another language. I read html. Some of it is indeciperable still. Much I have to simple copy and paste and cross my fingers. But with using Bjantiques html that creates columns and color backgrounds (bg) I can now create a page for promoting all my banners and links in a fast to load format for Traffic Exchanges and Surf Sites!

I'm using TrafficTornado as my site builder but you can use a blank webpage on your own website, from sites like GeoCities, Your BLOG here at Apsense will do this also! or many or the other sites for promoting or creating a webpage...

Here's what I've done so far warts and all!

title
This is a demonstration to show how tables can be used to manipulate the layout of both your blogs and group posts.
This area is where the title can go. It is center aligned and spans 3 columns.
This is the first of three elements on this row. It is 25% of the total table width and is left aligned
This is the third element of this row and is 25% of the total table width and is right aligned
On this row I have created two elements. this one spans the first two columns and is therefore 75% of the total table width. (the 25 % column 1 uses and the 50% column 2 uses) This is another right aligned element using the remaining 25% of the total table width.
This is a right aligned element that is less in height than the center element.

Three Simple STEPS to Success

  • Promotions: The SMART members join more Traffic programs than Income programs. Without lots of traffic you cannot build your downline and help others in getting started.

  • Spillovers: You become successful ONLY and ONLY when you help others to be successful starting thier own business. Use the Spillover tool to help new members Jump-Start their busines(s).
  • Commitment: Commit to building your business network for the rest of your life. The farmer who keeps up-rooting and re-planting new seeds never reap fruits.

    Hi Lisa,

    You're very welcome! *smiles*

...but.... I definitely have to thank Bj for being able to get to learn this much so far! Plus, now that I'm focusing on a cuple of primary businesses... life sure is simpler! Funny how that works!

Love tables - couldn't make a webpage without them, and I'm finding
CSS very difficult. No time to concentrate on it..... :-)
