Getting it wrong and getting a refund

by Susan coils Web Design & Marketing Services for Small Business

I always thought there would be no way to get a refund from an internet opportunity if you got it wrong. After all, once they have your money, they are highly unlikely to want to give it you back.

however, i joined a group that I thought sounded realy good. Refer people to sign up for free ezine and get paid. I also signed up for the OTO (wow, did i get caught out there). However, I realised pretty quickly the site wasn't what it was promising. There were so many problems and delays and excuses, it was farcical.

so I asked for a refund. Now,I hadn't paid much, but it was still my money and I felt justified in asking for it back, becuase they weren't doing what they had promised.

amazingly, I got a message today telling me they'd refunded my money. There it was in my Safepay account. I class that as a success. If all sites would own up when they get it wrong there'd be a lot less poorer people out there. maybe the owners of this particular site are just inexperienced and that is why they were having all of the problems, but either way I am glad to have come out of it with no loss of money.

I might be making money on the interent but I don't want to be losing it to programmes that don't work. I don't mind using my profits to fund other businesses/opportunities but only those that I think are going to make me more money. I think I've realised that you do have to spend some money if you are going to make a profit.

Anyway, just wanted to let you know, that refunds are possible. If you've signed up for something and they aren't delivering what they promised ask for your money back. It may take a bit of back and forth mailing, but if you get your money back, it has got to be worth it.

That is great that they actually refunded you! I must agree this is not something we see often at all online. Kudos to you!!
