The ever changing face of spam-talking to yourself

I'm sure all of you have visited the ask section.  It's a great resource if used correctly meaning NOT for advertising and yet this morning I noticed two separate posts by different people using the same spam tactic.  Others may not agree with me but in my eyes it's spam:
Member X posts a question, such as "Where can I buy refilled printer ink cartridges?"
Then you go look at the question because someone has answered it and you find this:
Member X's reply: www.ink.com/memberX
First of all it is a blatant ad disguised as a question.  Second of all MemberX is not looking for an answer to a question, he is posting his ad for his ink site.  Considering what the ask section is for, I see that as spam.

I reported a bunch of these so-called questions just a little while back.
People will never learn, i don't bother to tell them anymore that this is no question, i just click "report abuse", and give it a thumbs down.

Thank you. I guess I'm naive. It never occured to me to SPAM using APSense Question. I ask logical questions for information I want to become a more effective member at APSense. Silly Me!!

That's alright, join the flock. There's a lot of us silly geese that thought Ask was a member resource and not another adboard!

At Kooiii we have a group called Creative Marketing. I'm sure we wouldn't recommend that kind or trick. There are limits to what people can do. Some people just don't care about that, they only want instant results, long term reputation is of no concern to them.

You get rope a dope where a pair working together will have one ask where can I and the other try to sneak in a link and yes it's total SPAM, it's also racketeering which occurs when 2 people over a distance conspire to commit a crime.

Another one on there was the Can you please review my new video and tell me what you think. Sure review the video but you want them to follow the link and buy or join. Who do these spammers think they are fooling?

I tend to give a lot of thumbs down over there and my middle name is report abuse. But I figure they want to have fun spamming I can have my own fun ruining theirs!

You would have loved to be the fly on the wall to a conversation the other day with a prospective JV partner then my friend. He got both horns in a big way when he started advising to join programs to get the admin mail and then send the offers to the admin. Let's just say it wasn't purty.
