I also Agree with John here. We should use H1 Tags for 1 time in every page because it lets know the search engine what is this page about. If you use it several times then search engine will get confused and might not consider to index your page.

use only one H1
H2 for subheading in the content. we can use multiple H2 depends on the length of the content.
H3 for subheading in the content. we can use multiple H3 depends on the length of the content.
