In my experience in marketing and advertising online, it is not about the frequency of the posts that makes the determining factor if it is seen and read by others. The quality of the post is the most important aspect of marketing online. Over exuberance does not bring results. Good, original, thought provoking and readable content does.

I update my blog about 2-3 times per week. I've tried updating every day, but I've found it's difficult to come up with enough inspiration to keep every post fresh that way. A few times a week is ideal for my schedule, too!

At least once a week. You should be posting a blog post everyday but at the very least once a week.

I post new articles 1 or 2 times a week. Daily updates is a great thing, however, it's hardy achievable as it takes at least a couple of days to write a good post. Ideally, it's also necassary to add keywords, images, proofread and promote each article, which also takes time. Short and light articles usually pass unnoticed or can lead to disapproving comments.
