classified ads seems to be less effective as it was before. Why?
Too many people advertising there .
Safe list and other traffic exchanges might help.
Right now, three of the best traffic sources are: Solo ads, Forum traffic(laser targeted) and above all You tube traffic source with its billions of users.

I've used classified ad sites a lot in the past. They are a great way to get your brand out there and generate some free traffic.

I used print media classified ads in past for few decades but no more worth the expenses, online forums are better bet.

I prefer using social networking sites like Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, Wazzub Community, BOBL, and the like. My brother Twitters for me since I do not have a mobile phone (being old fashioned and loving my landline). I reach a lot of people this way, worked best for me. I have friends that swear both classified and networking like I do are both the way to go. It is a matter of preference and what are sharing/selling to others that = the results achieved.
