Xiaomi Redmi 3A has reportedly cleared TENAA, the FCC equivalent in China. Based on the TENAA listing, this device will come with a 5.0-inch display, complemented by 720 x 1,280 pixels HD screen resolution. this handset will be powered by Qualcomm’s modest Snapdragon 435 SoC, running at 1.4 GHz. While Adreno 505 GPU takes care of the graphics end, the entire configuration will be backed by 2 GB of LPDDR3 RAM.

Camera-wise, a good 16-megapixel rear-facing sensor will apparently be mounted on the device, along with a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies. This phone will reportedly come with a fingerprint scanner. However, it is mounted at the back of the phone.

On the software front, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS will run the Xiaomi Redmi 3A out of the box. Xiaomi has always surprised the customers by housing big battery units in its devices. This time around, the entry-level Redmi 3A comes equipped with a whopping 4,000 mAh battery cell. Also, this device will apparently support VoLTE.

Speaking of price, GizOK says the Xiaomi Redmi 3A will set the buyers back by an equivalent of $91.99. The Xiaomi Redmi 3A is headed to China. However, at this point, Xiaomi has not revealed the release date or price outside China. Most probably, third-party e-retailers like XiaomiDevice and others might sell this handset eventually as an international variant.
