The Xiaomi Mi 5
will be unveiled on January 21, but XiaomiDevice already put up a page
for it. The page has been taken down now, at least it listed all the
juicy specs.

The renders XiaomiDevice
used are actually identical to the leaked renders we've seen a while
back. The phone on these images sports a physical home button below the
display, along with rather thin bezels, but it's not exactly a
breakthrough as far as the design goes. The power / lock and volume
rocker keys are placed on its right-hand side, and the camera and the
dual-LED, dual tone flash are also visible in the provided image.
As
far as specs are concerned, the Xiaomi Mi5 will offer flagship-level
specs. That includes a 5.2-inch Quad HD display, a Snapdragon 820
processor, 4GB of RAM, a 16-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel
front-facing shooter and a 3600mAh battery. The Xiaomi Mi5 Plus
will apparently start at just 16GB of storage, presumably with a 64GB
option as well. It may also run outdated Android 5.1 software, along
with Xiaomi's own MiUI 7 skin.
These specs of the Xiaomi Mi 5 are in line with what we've seen from leaks, which may actually be the source of XiaomiDevice's info.
