Very innovative smart minds are putting their ideas to practice at a higher rate these days as compared to the past. There is always a new technological invention or improvement that is deemed useful being announced every day by someone from somewhere in the world. The useful inventions came up with are meant to ease life now, or meant for future use and this can be in any field available for example; medical, automotive, aerospace to mention a few.

Why there are more inventions nowdays?

The high rate at which inventions are springing up might be partly because of the technological advancement that is taking the world by storm. It is this advancement that is enticing smart minds to put their creativity to work since it becomes a bit easier with the friendly technology.

Related to the above in some way the awareness of technology and its advantages to the everyday life that is causing people to become inventive. For example, due to technology young people get to read or internet search about useful innovations and their creators. This in some way encourages and inspires them to put their minds to work too and create machines that will be useful to the public.

It is because of the advanced technology still that people get hold of translated materials about inventors, their inventions and about how to apply for patents in languages they understand best. The original material might have been written in other languages but later translated to other languages.

Then hard or uncomfortable lifestyles sometimes too push smart minds to go at work. When people are brought up in surroundings without basic life requirements, later on when they are grown and are exposed to the needed resources they become creative and thus come up with useful inventions.

For example, the technology that traps mist and transforms it into the water was created for villages in arid Morocco that could hardly access water for a day to day use. The water collected from the mist is channeled by pipes that lead to people’s homes and can, therefore, be used for drinking, cooking, washing and bathing. This was an idea by a Moroccan man who grew up in such a village but later had a chance to education and was later introduced to people with this kind of technology.

People who create inventions may include

·       Students

·       Engineers

·       Day to day people

Therefore, with all the invention competition going on, many scuffles and legal battles arise as a result of claims that invention ideas were stolen. This in return calls for wake up calls as people with inventions now start applying for patent rights to safeguard their creation ideas from being stolen.
