Who may lose if Apple keeps rising?

The analysts of the research firm say that Apple has been hiring enterprise account managers in North America and Europe. Apart from this, they have also focused on verticals like healthcare and educations. It has been noted that large businesses are making moves towards modernizing their work forces in a way that benefits Apple. This shift involves the inclusion of mobile apps and cloud solutions to the operations of a business.

Examples of implementing mobile apps are more than one. United Continental Holdings INC has started to equip their Airport representatives with iPhone 6 and modern enterprise apps to simplify their operations. HSBC Holding PLC has also begun to provide their employees with iPad so that they can access to the iOS app of the company. Virgin Atlantic is also processing a scanner app which can be installed in Apple Watch. It will let employees read the boarding passes from their Apple’s smartphone. Also, International Business Machine (IBM), Salesforce.com, SAP SE, Tableau Software INC and Oracle Corporations are also implementing iPad and IPhone application development projects to their business-courses.

The report also mentions about the technologies – Java and Oracle – which can be potentially victimized by the rise of Apple. Take the example of Apple’s Swift. Java seems to be getting sluggish in recent years. Apple is providing Swift technology as open-source which of course makes it an idea language for native cloud software solutions and native mobile apps. The companies who are not rewriting their legacy apps to be accessed via mobile apps are big losers.

This survey by Global Equities Research conducted with 30 programmers who are using Swift technologies for designing and developing enterprise applications. Apple appears to be at a well position to shift software developers towards Swift for native cloud implementations and mobile application development. Most programmers in the survey said that Apple’s Swift software technologies suited them better than Java and they may prefer it over anything else. 

Apple’s swift is being adopted by iOS developers over the world. Here are some top advantages of Swift:

1.    It's easier to pick up Swift. New developers can easily learn programming using it.
2.    It's a lot more readable for new developers. They will not need to understand complex syntax structure. 
3.    For a developer who already knows Python OOP, the transition is seamless to Swift OOP.
