WhatsApp Dark Mode Arrived in Android Beta

We have seen the rolling out of Dark mode for many popular Android Apps such as Gmail, Instagram, and Pinterest in the current months, and now WhatsApp’s dark mode finally arrives in Android beta, which was highly anticipated feature and rumors were for months. The App has joined with some other useful offerings, too, along with the dark mode. This new update will enable the users to switch between the display modes along with helping in improving the battery life of the devices having OLED displays as it will restrict the whole screen to get lighten up. However, this highly anticipated feature which provides a dark theme to the users but is now available only for beta testers, and it will be made available for the ordinary people soon. Dark Mode is open to the beta testers via Google play with v2.20.13 update, and if you are a beta tester and still is ignorant of this particular update, then you can sideload the update from APK mirror. If you are not a beta tester and can’t wait to try the latest update, then you can register yourself through Google play and become a beta tester by downloading the beta builds. Now, most of the beta testers were eager to know the method to enable the Dark mode or dark theme and here are the simple steps which you follow to enable the Dark mode:-

  • First of all, you need to download the recent WhatsApp beta update and open the update.
  • When you open the App then you have to click on the icon of the three-dot menu that appeared at the right of the screen.
  • After then, you will have to go to the “Settings” and further click on “Chats “
  • After clicking on “Chats,” you have to select the theme by tapping on the option “Theme.”
  • When you click on the “theme,” after then, a Window will be open to you, and there you have to select the theme.
  • When you select the theme, after then you have click on” Dark” in the appeared window, and further, it will enable the dark mode interface.
  • This dark mode interface will be enabled across the App, and then you can tap on “System Default.”
  • You will find that tapping on “System Default ” will help you to switch between dark and light display modes.

These new proponents will make the user interface more exciting and enjoyable. The latest update will surely help the users to get their eyes relaxed even when they will use it in dark environments. The people are also waiting for the updates to make it public, but these are in the testing phase right now and maybe released for everyday use in some time. Till then, beta testers are trying to find out the suitability of this mode on WhatsApp, and it may be said that the result is going to be much more exciting.
