WBJEE 2016 Counselling process begins after result of a specific entrance examination is published. Counselling process enables students to mark the choices of colleges and courses as per their preferences. However, only those candidates will be eligible to attend counselling process who have acquired minimum qualifying marks in the entrance examination. It is basically a multi-stage process and it is mandatory for candidates to complete all stages in an appropriate manner. The major steps of WBJEE 2016 counselling process are as follows:

- Register yourself online to participate in the counselling process

  • Fill in your Option
  • Lock your option
  • Option freezing or locking process
  • Allotment of seats
  • Seat confirmation
  • Payment of remaining fees
  • Report to the particular institution

WBJEE 2016 Counselling Fee:

  • Fee for Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW): Rs 4000
  • Fees for University/Government Institute: Rs 5000
  • State Funded Institutions (SFI): Rs 20,000.

WBJEE 2016 Counselling Procedure:

  • There are three rounds in WBJEE 2016 counselling.
  • Candidates' online registration will be valid for the three rounds of WBJEE 2016 Counselling only.
  • WBJEE Board may conduct a 4th round for WBJEE 2016 Counselling in case if there are vacant seats left in the colleges. Students may have to register a fresh for new rounds of counselling as per the guidelines of Board.
