Formerly known as the Sir Dorabji Tata Graduate School of Social work went to new heights and created new benchmarks when it changed its whole system from the inside out not even leaving its own name hence, Tata Institute for Social Sciences was born. TISSNET 2017  Exam Details -

It is an online test conducted by TISS for finding the best in the candidates who have applied for the courses offered by them. This online test conducted through computers in specific locations across cities can be taken by anyone having basis computer knowledge.  The test conducted is mainly consisted of objective type question. The main aim of this type of test is to find the right candidates for the right course as this institution aims at producing individuals who aim to make a change in the society as the social realities as we know it is going for the gutters. An individual who aims to graduate from this prestigious institution must clear this test. 

A test to prove

TISSNET is an annual PG level national entrance test conducted by TISS for Aspiring candidates for the masters program such as Mph, msc, mha and ma. This objective type online test done through computers can be taken by anyone above the age of 21 provided he/she is an under graduate degree holder. The test is done in as many as 39 cities. Major cities in all regions are covered for this exam as aspirants for getting into this university can be found in every corner of the country. The candidate desiring to take the exam must carry with him an admit card bearing his unique registration id which is mandatory for taking up the test.

Who can compete in TISSNET 2017  ?

The eligibility criteria pertaining to the aspirants who wish to take up the test is as follows:-

·         A citizen of India -  A compulsory undergraduate degree in any of the recognized universities across India, Post Degree students can also apply.

·         Should have completed their graduation before the date of 11^th June 2017

·         Should have registered for the TISS national entrance test, either online or offline.

 

TISSNET 2017   Online or Offline?

·         Online refers the process where every step for registering is done with just a click of your mouse and all the transfer is done through their very own portal

·         Does doing everything online seem too mainstream. Then you should go for the offline department. Offline refers to the process of physically filling applications and manually submitting them to the department along with the prescribed fess. This is mostly preferred by students who lack computer knowledge and also to make the process feel authentic as not many prefer to send their money online.

TISSNET 2017  Admission Fee- Within my budget?

Money isn’t a thing worrying in a reputed university like TISS as they charge a minimum amount of Rs.1030(approximate) compared to the whopping some money charged by other universities in the same sector. The money should be submitted along with your application form as the form may be considered void in the case of late payment. 

TISSNET 2017  Admit card –

This admit card is mandatory for accessing your center without which the candidates would not be allowed to attempt the prestigious test.TISSNET 2017

 The admit card for all the candidates will be sent to their respective email id as per the contact details provided by them in their registration form.
