Some tips for reducing stress

 

The technological advances in this age, has gifted to us several facilities, which would have been unthinkable to our ancestors. In spite of these technological advantages there are several adverse effects as well. One of the effects of daily hectic activities, of modern day life, is an increase in stress levels. But unless we learn to reduce our stress levels the positive side of technological advancement cannot be fully utilized. Stress levels should be reduced to experience the feeling of well being.

 

What is the cause of stress?

Most animals when facing a hazardous situation, either run away or fight back. In the animal kingdom flight or fight is the common solution to an adverse situation. Since we humans share many of genetic material we also share such traits. But in case of humans it is not possible to fight back or run away from an adverse situation. And the end result is an increase in stress levels. However, there are various stress relief methods which could be practiced to reduce our stress levels

 

Some of the stress relief methods

  1. Deep breathing : Learn some deep breathing exercises to reduce stress.
  2. Concious eating : Some tips on how the process of eating food can be improved to reduce stress.

    Meditation : Practice meditation for reducing stress.
