Want To Set Up Your Debit Account in Telstra Bigpond App? Telstra Support Team is here to help

Do you often struggle to make payments on time? Not because of the financial crisis, but simply because you forgot to pay the bill? Or didn’t receive the payment notification?

The result, leads to late fee payment hence you end up paying more amount. In this blog, we have a solution for this problem as well. You can directly set up a debit account for the Bigpond account.

Follow the steps below to set up a direct debit and don't worry about paying the late fees
Steps to set up direct debit for your BIGPOND account with the TELSTRA app

If you haven't already installed the Telstra app on your mobile phone, open the Google Plays store and search for Telstra. 
You can download the application by opening Telstra.com and clicking the download link provided for the Telstra application. 
After installing the application, enter your credentials on the login screen and log into your Bigpond account.
Enter the uppercase and lowercase sensitive password for your Bigpond account carefully. Once you are in your account, scroll the bottom bar and tap on the Payments section to select it. 
In the Payments section, select the Direct Debit option. 
Then press the desired option, enter the required information to select a payment method, and add a credit card, debit card, or bank account. 
Please Note: Bigpond accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Diners Club International cards as payment methods. If you have chosen a credit card, make sure you have not entered any card information that is approaching expiry. 
After entering all information, check the information again and click the Submit button. A confirmation screen is displayed indicating that the transaction was successful. 
Direct Debit is active within 24 hours, so log into your Bigpond account after 1 day to check the status of your Direct Debit. 
It may take up to 34 days for direct debit to be activated. So, please wait only if direct debit has not been activated after 4 days. Contact Bigpond.

Direct debit may also not apply if you do not clear all Bigpond unpaid bills prior to applying.
