This article speaks about the different plot shapes for a hotel as per Vastu advice which would and would not be feasible for a hotel structure.

Square plots

Plots which are equal in length and breadth are termed as square plots. The Vastu Purush fits perfectly in these plots and hence they are considered most auspicious. However, such plots are very rarely available and hence an alternative to this is to make the room sizes in square shapes.

Rectangular plots

Rectangular plots are larger in length as compared to their width and are angled at 90 degrees at their corners. Such plots are extremely fruitful and high-yielding for its owners as it is very easy to design the Vaastu payout on such lands. But it should be made sure that the ratio of its size lies within 2:1. In other words, its length should not exceed twice its width; otherwise the flow of energy would not be distributed evenly among its occupants, thereby leading to disagreement and difference in opinion within the family.

Triangular plots

Plots with three sides, angled at 45 degrees at the corners are called triangular plots. These plots should never be purchased at any cost as they can cause umpteen amounts of problems in one’s life. Residents of such houses can never achieve peace and prosperity in life.

Corner-cut plots

Plots with unparalleled corners and irregular shape are not considered auspicious at all. Structures built on such plots cause restlessness, diseases and financial crunches for its residents. However, defects of such plots can be rectified and corrected by diverting the flow of the subtle energies present here.

Circular plots

Circular plots are the best in terms of Vaastu and they bring about overall prosperity and success for its owners. However, such plots are very rarely available.

Oval plots

Plots which are oval in shape are highly inauspicious and should not be opted for as they bring about great losses in one’s life.

Semicircular plots

Just like oval plots, even D-shaped or semi circular plots are highly unfavorable as they result in bringing about financial instability.

Gomukh  plots

Plots with wider space at the back as compared to the front side are known as Gomukh plots. Such plots are good for residential purposes but are not advisable for commercial use. However, while choosing a Gomukh plot, it should be noticed that it I not North-facing as this means shortening of the positive radiations coming from this direction.

Singhmukh plots

Singhmukh plots are those with a wider front wall as compared to the back side. Such plots should not be used for residential purposes but can be bought for constructing commercial establishments on them.
