Vaastu Advice For Office
When we consider the Vastu for our office premises, we have to keep many things in mind so as to create a Vastu-friendly environment to work in. While seeking Vastu advice for office, the shape, size and structure of the work table, the placement of the staff and various others issues have to be dealt with. The plan for the office structure should adhere to Vastu principles and a professional Vastu personnel, like Dr. Puneet Chawla, should be approached who would provide the correct Vastu tips for your office premises.
SHAPE
The shape and structure of your office speaks a lot about your power and position as it influences your success rate drastically. Hence it must ensure elemental harmony. This can be perfected by making sure that the cabin where you sit is regular in shape and is well defines, without having any extensions or cut outs in it. A perfect square or a rectangle would make for an ideal choice.
PLACEMENT
1. Make sure that the location of your office is not in a deserted and lonely area; in fact it should be set amidst the hustle bustle of a moving crowd surrounded by running roads and lots of traffic. This would ensure prosperity and god luck for your business.
2. The North, North-east and North-west are considered to be very auspicious directions which attract good luck and positive energies. One should choose an office building that faces one of these directions.
3. Set your sitting position against a solid wall. Having a door directly ahead of you or right behind your table invites betrayal. Beware of beams as well. They cause unnecessary stress. Hidden beams behind false ceilings are equally dangerous and should be avoided from beforehand.
4. The electronic equipments like computers, fax machines and so on should be kept on the left hand side of the table if your workstation faces the North. Alternatively, it should be kept on your right hand side if the direction that you face while sitting happens to be the East.
5. Always choose a corner towards the South or the West wall for sitting. Make sure the area on your left has a solid wall or is a closed one.
6. For businessmen, especially in the trading business, it is advisable to face the North or the East while working as this direction is owned by the Lord of wealth, Kuber. However, a professional or a person belonging to the service industry should face the East while working as this is the direction from where the sun rises and grows.
WORK TABLE
1. The shape of your work table should be a regular one like a square or a rectangle. Abstract shapes are not considered auspicious. The idea is to have four corners and the dimensions should not exceed in the ratio of 1:2. If the length of the table measures more than the aforementioned ratio, it gives rise to confusion and delays.
2. Pictures of Gods and idols should not be placed on the desk. They should be assigned a proper and separate place with respect and honor.
3. While working on your table, keep the left side heavier.
4. Eating on the workstation or table should be avoided at all means. Any activity which is not work-related should not be executed on the work table.
5. Reading magazines or sleeping on the work table generates negative energy and should not be encouraged. The workstation should be used solely for money making activities. Putting down your head on your desk for a power nap is also a taboo as per Vaastu principles.
6. The table where you work should be kept clean and uncluttered at all times. Cleanliness is next to Godliness and if you really want Goddess Lakshmi to shower her blessings on you, make sure you keep your work area absolutely spic and span. Again, clutter is synonymous to confusion. It also leads to creating disharmony among colleagues and should not be encouraged.
