River Cruise

boat party in London is the perfect way to celebrate in style. What could be better than bringing your family and friends for a cruise down the River Thames? These experiences can be customised, so they are suitable for all ages. You could celebrate your 21st with a night time cruise and see the city lights as you dance until the early hours. Or opt for a more relaxed daytime party where you can take in all the famous landmarks from the open top deck.  Some of the larger river cruise companies mean you can enjoy a meal too.

Hot Air Balloon

If you don’t mind heights, a hot air balloon ride will make for a birthday you’ll never forget. You can take up to 12 people along for the ride, or have a more intimate couple’s experience. At the height of the balloon’s ascent you’ll have stunning panoramic views across the countryside. Bring the champagne and say ‘cheers’ to reaching your next milestone.

Travel

Why not treat yourself to a trip away? Book a luxury hotel or apartment and explore that destination you’ve always longed to go to. This option is great even if you’ve left it to the last minute because many travel companies offer cheap last minute deals on flights. You don’t even have to leave the country to have a unique experience, just getting away from your home and going somewhere new can be special.

Throw a Themed Party

Let your imagination run free and throw a themed party. Make the theme something you love, it could be based on a favourite movie or perhaps a period of time like the roaring twenties. Once you’ve briefed all the guests have fun decorating. If you’ve hired a venue you might be limited on how you can decorate but think outside of the box. Fairy lights, disco balls, balloons and banners are essential. You don’t have to splash a lot of cash to pull off an amazing themed night, think back to school plays and get crafty! There’s bound to be plenty of inspiration online too.

Have a Picnic

Picnics are a perfect idea for a summer birthday and they are not just for children. Make some cocktails, get heaps of food and you’re all set. Picnics are much easier to organise than a BBQ as you can ask people to bring along some food. Less work for you, means more time to enjoy yourself! There are loads of cute and quirky ideas for making your garden the ideal venue. String up some paper lanterns, light some tea lights and get some bunting. You could even go one step further and have classic children’s party games like musical statues. Or just make the most of the good weather with a playlist full of your favourite music
