UK Innovator Visa Program

United Kingdom or UK invites enthusiastic innovators to relocate to UK to setup a business there. United Kingdom is known for innovations and most importantly for the industrial revolution it brought about in the early 19^th century. UK is the financially hub of the world. It is a country which has been able to influence the world across with their culture. Their English language is used as the official language in every part of the world. It is the 5^th largest economy of the world. London, the capital of England is one of the three Global economy commanding centers of the world. UK invites entrepreneurs into their country through UK Innovator VISA program.

This program is for those who do not belong to UK and Switzerland.

Eligibility/Qualifications to apply under this program –

i. The innovator should be ready to invest £50,000 in England

ii. The innovator should obtain endorsement letter from an approved body

iii. The innovator should clear the English language requirement in all 4 fields of language – speaking, reading, writing and learning

iv. The applicant should be 18 years and above

v. The applicant should provide bank documents proving their economic stand that they could support self and their dependents when in UK

The investors will have to approach pre-approved innovator endorsing bodies to obtain endorsement letter.

The investor should be able to prove that his business idea is scalable to international levels. It is viable and has good potential for growth. Such a business idea should be original. The innovator cannot invest in a running business there.

It usually takes 3 months for the innovator to get his visa. However, the decision on the visa will be made in 3 weeks’ time.

This visa is valid for 3 years and is further extendable for another 3 years. This visa is extendable ‘n’ number of times. However, once the applicant lives in UK for a period of 3 years, he becomes eligible to apply for settlement in UK.

Other than new investors coming to UK on this visa, any other businessmen in UK can move to this VISA program based on the requirement. Especially businessmen who have entered UK on UK Start-up visa can utilize this program to extend their stay in UK. Individuals who have entered to UK to work there can move to this visa on the event when they start a business in UK and a need arises to change the visa status.

The person who gets his visa, can set-up a business or multiple businesses in UK. He can work only for his own businesses. The immediate family members of the main applicant can join him to relocate to UK. They will enjoy the status as the main applicant there. However, the investor who successfully relocated to UK, cannot work for anybody outside his own business and cannot try to fund self from public funds.
