Type D Rubber Fender

Description:

Rubber D fenders are widely used as belting on tugs and other work-boat.D fender can be supplied with either a circular bore for extra wall thickness and durability or a D-bore for securing with a flat bar. All D fender can be cut to length, drilled, or pre-curved as require.

DO and SC fenders have a circular bore for extra wall thickness and durability. DD and SD fenders have a D-bore for securing with a flat bar. Extruded fenders are available in many other sections as well. 

As the commonly used rubber bumpers around the world, D rubber fender is known and used widely on many tugs and any other vessels for its wide range of designs and sizes. The height of D type rubber fender generally ranges from 100mm to 500mm, and there are different sizes of accessories, like bolt and flat bar to meet the installation of different sizes of fenders. D type rubber fender is lighter than other rubber fenders, many shipyard will choose such kind rubber fender as belting on tugs and other work-boat. The flat back of this type of fenders facilities the easy installation of D fenders on various surface for the protection of ships and docks. Besides the common sizes, there are also some non-standard sizes and customer specific versions, which can also be designed and produced to meet different requirements. Moreover, smaller D type rubber fender are also available in longer lengths and in various colors. Besides, D type rubber fender can also be produced vulcanized with required radiuses, which allow them to be fitted properly to a circular bow or stern. D type rubber fender can be provided in specified lengths and the ends can be bevelled.

When it comes to installation, it is very easy and convenient for installing, it can be fitted by means of bolts or strips in various manners: horizontally, vertically or diagonally,The mounting holes required are more through the side or through the top and bottom of the fender.
