Description:

I type rubber fender, which are installed on docks for protecting the docks and ships from being damaged at the time of berthing. I type rubber fender is of large top area, which can provide small surface pressure. This rubber fender used widely on ten-thousand-ton docks with high energy absorption and low reaction force. Between two supporting arms is the span, which is adjustable. And it is also available to combine multiple supporting arms. The design compressive deflection of I type rubber fender is up to 52.5%. UHWPE plate or nylon plate is suitable for the impingement plate, with low friction coefficient 0.07, which is good for berthing. This I type rubber fender can be installed vertically or horizontally without supported anchor chain. And it is very easy and convenient for installation, repairing and replacement.

I type rubber fender also called element rubber fender or leg rubber fender, which are fully moulded rubber legs with embedded mounting plates. I type rubber fender is based on V-fenders in principle but separated legs increase fenders layout flexibility when installed behind steel panels, UHMW-PE low friction plates or where mounting space is restricted, which provides a low cost alternative to an arch type fender and with march less space required.

With good energy absorption to reaction force ratio, I type marine rubber fender is known widely around the wharf projects field. Moreover, vertically and horizontally mounted I type rubber fender may be combined in one system. The heights of I type rubber fender is from 250 to 2000mm, in standard lengths ranging from 500mm to 2000mm each in three main hardness grades. And the common lengths of I type rubber fender include 900, 1000,1500,2000mm. All of these enable the most precise fender selection.

I type rubber fender provides a compact solution for the mounting of fenders where space is limited. I type rubber fender can be mounted behind panels or piles.

In many conditions, I type rubber fender are always required to be installed as symmetrical pairs or with three or more legs with supported panel. As for the testing, I type rubber fender are always required to be tested by using the decreasing velocity method to achieve published performance values.

Features:

Good energy absorption to reaction force ratio (E/R)

High energy absorption per weight of rubber

Modular and compact design with small footprint

Easy and convenient for installation, maintaining, and replacement

Vertically and horizontally mounted elements may be combined in one system
