Selling art is far more difficult than creating it. Artists need specific ideas and strategies in order to earn a lucrative profit. There are guidelines that an artist may need to follow to represent their art in Indian Art Gallery in London.

You can ask your customers to pay a certain sum of money on a monthly basis. It will help them to access things which were not possible earlier. Like, they can easily meet artists, curators or other similar customers or collectors. This scheme works well because with time they own a good sum which can be used to buy antiques only.   

 

·        Some out-of-the-box ideas

Artists are known to create art pieces. What if they try their hand in cooking and organise a food tasting session? It is all about developing a relationship with your customers and inspiring them to try your art or buy it.

 

·        Price it right

Price is the most important aspect when it comes to shopping. Compare your process with other artists. Test the market before establishing your prices. Most of all, be consistent with the price. Keep it same for all the galleries, open studios and art fairs.

 

·        Give them reasons to visit

Arrange live performance shows, night-time openings, educational workshops, food parties or maybe a lecture. There can be many decent ways of inviting over guests. You can send emails or messages or put advertisements in newspapers or magazines.

Once more people will start visiting you; the chances of getting your stuff sold will increase.
