This remarkable journey was done in a few hours of darkness which was even incredible to understand. But, we know that it’s happened and we have faith in it. The Holy Quran also states that,
“Who took His slave (Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)) for an expedition by night from Masjid e Haram (at Makkah, Saudi Arabia) to the utmost Masjid (in Jerusalem), the neighborhood whereof We have sanctified, in order that We might show him (Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)) of Our Ayat (verifications, proofs, instructions, symbols, etc.). Verily, He is (Allah the Almighty) the All-Hearer, the All-Seer.” (Holy Quran, 17: 1)
What is Me’raj?

Gift of Five Salah
The gift of five Salah is also received on the occasion of Miraj. Allah is given this gift to Holy Prophet Ummah to pray five times a day and remember Allah and His blessings. According to Hadith,
“O, Prophet Muhammad! These prayers (Salah) require to be completed five times a day. However, there are ten booties (rewards) for each Salah!” (Sahih Muslim)
