Image The belt conveyor gravity tension is an important factor when checking for the safety of the conveyor belt and the machine as a whole. This is essential because the welfare of the people working with it will be at risk if something that is not right will happen. There are different types of conveyor belts with specific function and purposes that are being sold in the market these days.
Conveyor belts are consisting of two pulleys with a loop material that move around. They are either horizontal or inclined in orientation. The horizontal conveyor belts move towards a lateral position, it can either be in forward or backward motion. The inclined/declined conveyor belt is for upward and downward purposes. The inclined conveyor belt has a set angle where it slants. Here are some standard types of conveyor belts that are usually used in productions.
Ultimate 140 BOS is one of the examples of the standard belting. This is commonly seen in horizontal type of Side Bracket and roller bed. This is the type wherein it was finished with nitrile impregnated on it and brushed on one side. This is used for handling packaging. The machine is oil resistant and has less sound produced while working. The most important feature of this machine is that it can withstand high temperatures.
Another model is the Ultimate 140 SD. This is almost similar with the Ultimate 140 BOS except for the thin polyurethane top used for its finishing. This is compatible with 190-ABA, 190-ABEZ and 190-LR. Its feature includes high friction co-efficient that increases the driving capacity. It is also more resistant to oil and creates less noise during production. It can likewise withstand high temperatures. The tension of the conveyor belt supports the products well.
Black Trackmate 533 COS-PVC uses PVC cover one side of the conveyor Small Side Bracket. This is suitable for areas wherein belt tracking is difficult. It functions well against misuse and abrasion. The White Polymate 100 RMP-COS, on the other hand, uses thermoplastic cover instead of PVC. This is the type that is utilized best in food companies especially in areas of canning and packing. This unit passes the requirements of FDA and the USDA. The design of the conveyor belt is just appropriate with the weight and size of the products being manufactured.
Black Trackmate 447 Roughtop W/ PVC cover is best designed for incline and decline conveyors. The gravity tension of the conveyor belt fits the movement. The PVC roller finish used is for additional support. Brown Polymate Roughtop with nitrile cover is likewise used for incline and decline production. It is more appropriate for oily and greasy items. The nitrile cover serves as additional gripping.  Tan Glide top has bare nylon top and friction bottom. This type has low friction features and abrasive resistant top. This is best suited for applications where redirection of products is needed.
