Our cashmere is made out of the pure fleece of the Kashmir goat.  It is a soft downy fine material.  Over the years we have created a long term relationship with the herdsmen in Mongolia.   There the system of rearing is in the form of multi generational family farms where diversity in climate has ensured that the goats evolve with loftier, softer, longer, fibers.  These goats are fed well and pure bred .They are clipped only once a season to ensure the fibers are of the highest quality.  After shearing, the fibers are carded, washed and then spun into double ply yarns to in order to maintain durability.

Vibrant Colors we use

The vibrant colors are achieved through usage of eco friendly dyes that use less water, energy and are environmental friendly.  The dying of the cashmere uses zero chemicals to preserve the color of natural brown, white and beige fibers that are used for the creation of the cashmere shawls.  The seams of the shawls are all linked by the hand that gives it its exquisite finish.

Maintenance of cashmere  

Cashmere is a soft luxurious wool that if maintained properly becomes softer by the day.  The best way to maintain your garment is to professionally dry clean the garment and hand wash it in Luke warm water. The ideal temperature of the water should be about 30 degrees.   Before washing, you should ideally turn the cashmere robe, cashmere wrap and cashmere poncho inside out. To is done to ensure the longevity of the wool.   It is advised not to wring or rub the garment.   Dry the garment flat and reshape it before drying.  It is always better to read the care label, and store the woolen wear inside out.
