We all shop for something or other online. We are always on the lookout for online coupons or online offers or those shopping vouchers from shoppers stop, or promotional and free coupons.

This trend of shopping online for deals or offers or coupon codes has been on a steep rise. With the merchants broadening their horizon when it comes to payments in the form of credit cards, net banking, debit cards and cash on delivery, is a welcome sign, the customers should still keep an eye on sharing their bank details with the merchants even though the merchants provide safe shopping.

How often have we not come across with instances such as a credit card fraud or money being siphoned off a bank account or a quality of a product not as described? Well we all may have at some stage right?

If shopping online for best deals on products or services or coupon codes is fun, then it is equally important to note that paying online is a responsibility and that should be protected at all times.

As all of us are aware that we shouldn’t share our banking details online, but still some of us tend to pay a blind eye to this fact and we start creating new troubles and issues for ourselves.

Here are a couple of tips which may be worth considering while shopping online:

1.       The browsers such as chrome, internet explorer or Mozilla come with an incognito browser. Hence it is always an additional security for shoppers to shop using incognito browser. Main reason is the cookies or cache is never stored in incognito.

2.       Now with this additional security feature you can safely log on to the shopping website you desire and continue with your shopping. When it comes to the payment gateway, there are a few sites that give you an option to save the card details for easy shopping in future. Even though the merchants state this, it is the shopper’s wish to whether or not save the card details with the merchant. We recommend to not saving the details, in the best interest of the shopper. Who wouldn’t agree with us when we say “Prevention is better than cure”?

We as Deal24by7, advise our shoppers to protect their bank details, the choice still lies with the shopper whether to or not to follow our tips.

We wish our viewers a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR. Happy dealings with only your Deal24by7.
