Roulette Game: Celebrities Who Love Playing Roulette

by Prateek Chaturvedi Professional Blogger
Even if you have never played casino roulette in your life, you are probably aware of how the setup looks and what the ambience around a roulette table is. This is a certain thing if you are a movie buff because roulette has featured in umpteen number of movies, especially the thriller kinds. You would have seen movie stars playing a bet and probably winning. They are the heroes, after all. Not everyone is so lucky.

Nevertheless, those are just movies and everything is possible in a movie. You won’t just walk into a casino and find a celebrity playing roulette game. Is that really so? Some celebrities love playing roulette. Yes, you got that right and today you are going to be introduced to some very passionate celebrity roulette players. Apart from those who play roulette in public, there must be many who play online roulette away from the eyes of the paparazzi.

  • Ian Fleming
James Bond 007 is often seen spending time in a casino in his various movies. What is interesting about it is that the creator of James bond, Ian Fleming, himself is a very keen player of roulette. While James Bond is a baccarat player, Fleming has incorporated a lengthy roulette strategy sequence in his novel, which was later filmed in the movie ‘Diamonds Are Forever’, which became popularised as the James Bond Strategy.
  • Sean Connery – Lucky Number 17 Online Roulette Strategy
A Scottish actor, Sean made the 17 black a lucky number to play in the roulette. He played the number three times in a row, losing in the first two attempts and winning a whopping 160,000 Euros finally.
  • Ricky Hatton
Rick Hatton was spotted in Las Vegas playing the game of roulette after a famous gambling bout in the boxing ring with Floyd Mayweather. Hatton did not come out as the winner, but that certainly didn’t dampen his spirits and he went on to enjoy roulette at Mandalay Casino with supposedly coffee and some fans.
  • Harry Styles
Harry Styles became a celebrity when he was only 16 years old. The show X-factor brought him into the limelight when Simon Cowell acknowledged his talent and he was brought back to the show to create a band with the other members of the boy band “One Direction”. As they grew in age and fame, the boy band was often spotted at casinos. Once when Harry was spotted playing Roulette in Perth, the media made a big deal out of it. It is tough to say whether the publicity was good or bad. He was passionate about the game and still is, if the “17 Black” permanently tattooed on his shoulder is anything to go by.
These are only a few of the roulette-loving celebrities that we know of. There are several others who enjoy the game but have not been in the public eye. Though it was not possible earlier to enjoy the game of roulette hidden away from the cameras, it is much easier with the online casinos coming into play.
