Our eyes meet at
the bus station.
The sadness
splashed all over your face.
I cannot help but
wonder about you,
And what caused
this sadness that you have to face.
What is happening
in that little heart of yours that has saddened you so?
What has gone
wrong in your life that has destroyed your beautiful smile?
(Chorus)
What did he say,
To make you feel
this way?
What did he say,
To make you run
away?
Was he unfaithful
and you found out,
Or was it coming a
long time, so you had to walk out?
The small bag
slung over your shoulder,
Probably filled
with odds and ends.
Your pounding
little heart in your chest,
Probably filled
with sadness to the bitter end.
I walk towards
you, wanting to lay a hand on your arm,
To protect you
from any further harm.

Was he unfaithful

As my hand brushes
against your dress,
I can feel the
hurt you are emitting.
You climb the
stairs of the bus, slowly and regretfully,
Knowing that this
chapter in your life you are now exiting.
Tears roll over
your cheeks as you say your final goodbye.
I turn you around
and wipe the tears from your eyes.

side, staring into an empty void.
The World passing
behind us, like the day before Yesterday.

life filled with strife.

A few minutes
later all the walls around you come crashing down.
Your sadness makes
sense now.

Especially the

arms, I can protect you from your fear,
With your hair
cascading on my chest, you can now shed your final tear.
