The location of scanpst.exe depends on the version of Office you are using. Once you find the inbox repair tool you just need to run inbox repair tool by double clicking on the icon. Now you have to select the PST file which you want to repair. After successfully repairing the pst file you can use Outlook again.
If the location of PST file is not known you can search for .PST files usong normal windows search which will result in all pst files present on system
