nFixup Tool for Free Recovery of NSF Files

Lotus Notes is also an email application used to send and receive messages. Lotus Notes stores its file in NSF format and if these files become corrupt it will not function. There are many reasons by which NSF files get corrupt

Causes of Corrupt NSF Files

  • Using unauthorised extensions and add-ins in Lotus Notes
  • Pending update in Lotus Notes
  • Changing the file structure of the database
  • Thus there is not a specific reason, but these errors can be fixed using nFixup tool.

How to Repair Corrupt NSF File with nFixup

  1. Launch domino administrator and select server to store database
  2. Go to Files database where files are stored and click on Tools
  3. Select the nFixup tool and then open it
  4. Scan the database and NSF files

The tool will repair all files and recover them. Another good method is by converting NSF to PST for free.
