Qualities of the petite retriever

4. A secondary reason for breeding a small sized golden retriever like all selective breeding is to produce a designer dog with fewer allergies. However this is dependent on the parent breeds.
5. Life expectancy of between 10-15 years.
6. Weighs between 20-50 lbs and height of 18-20 inches.
7. Easy to train and intelligent.
8. The comfort retriever has a great temperament just like its larger sized version.
9. The Miniature golden retriever shed far lesser than the larger breed version but this also means that they will require more grooming. Dogs that shed frequently require less grooming.
