The New York Times reported that many other schools may not be as prepared as the Northshore School District, with some teachers across the country filling out a shared Google Doc with “tips and tricks” for online learning.

In Columbia University, online classes started on March 11 and President Bollinger declared that classes would be held virtually for the remainder of the school year, and suspended all university-related travel; both international and domestic.
