Oculus Quest 2 is a wireless VR headset that offers 64GB of storage along with 6GB of RAM. You can even get more storage by spending a little more money. The Oculus Quest 2 comes with integrated 3D positional audio, a Snapdragon’s XR2 chipset for VR and AR, a USB-C charging cable, a spacer for eyeglass wearers, and four headset-mounted cameras.

The design of Oculus Quest 2 is amazing, and you will barely even notice the logo on the front of the headset. The power button of the headset is on the right side of the headset, and the USB-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack are available on the right side of the headset. The best thing about Oculus Quest 2 is that you will not find any unnecessary buttons or confusing sliders on it.

The headset does offer touch controllers that require AA batteries to operate, and of course, you will get the batteries in the box. If we talk about battery life, it’s fantastic, and you won’t even need to think about it. The Oculus Quest 2 offers you a 72Hz refresh rate and a USB-C charger that can fully charge the battery almost in 3 hours.

When you first open up the Oculus Quest 2, you will find almost zero barriers; it is an outstanding experience. The headset even allows you to set the interpupillary distance manually so that you will get reduced eye strain and the clearest viewing experience. The headset offers three different settings for interpupillary distance – 58mm, 63mm, and 68mm.

To use the headset, you will have to connect the Oculus Quest 2 with Wi-Fi and download updates for controllers and headset; once you do it, the next step is to pair the device with your smartphone using the Oculus app and login with Facebook. This is the complete setup for Oculus Quest 2, and it is mandatory to log in to the account using Facebook for all-new Oculus users.

Once you complete the initial setup, you will be needed to determine the guardian boundary so that you won’t smash into walls or any other objects. It is quite fun and simple to set up.

The device is fantastic, but keep in mind that you may feel VR sickness. Some people face various problems such as nausea or headache while using the VR headsets. You may feel the same; in this case, it’s better if you avoid using Oculus Quest 2 for a while. Otherwise, the headset is amazing. One thing I don’t like about this device is its refresh rate; if it had a 90Hz refresh rate or more despite 72Hz, it would be better.

However, when you enter the Oculus Quest 2’s home for the first time, you will see a floating window where you can view your Oculus ID and Facebook user name, search the store for apps, and design your avatar. You can even bring a dashboard close to your view field so that you can check the notifications, battery levels, setting tabs, and various other stuff just at a glance.

Oculus Quest 2 is a pretty amazing VR headset and a value for money product, so if you buy this headset, you will not regret; in fact, you will be very satisfied with the product.
