Noida – the most liveable city of the country

Noida, one of the popular city in the National Capital Region is a planned city that is managed by the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority. It is located about 20 kilometres from southeast of Delhi. It is bounded on west and south west by the Yamuna River and north-east, east and south-east by the Hindon River making it a serene locality. When it comes to the most liveable city in the NCR, Noida takes the first position.

In a recent survey conducted by the real estate services and consultancy giant Colliers International, India, the 'Residential Preference Survey 2015', Noida has beaten other NCR cities chosen as the best place for people to live in. People working in Delhi or Gurgaon but wishes to stay away from the hustles and bustles of city life prefer to live in flats in Noida to lead a cool, sophisticated life. It offers all basic amenities to all people but only disadvantage being people have to travel a long distance for their job at Delhi or Gurgaon.

Most people living in the NCR region support Gurgaon city as the best as it offers a huge employment opportunities. But the planned city, Noida has taken the position of best city due to its lower cost of living and lower rental rates. This residential preference survey also revealed that though Gurgaon is an office district and offers a higher number of opportunities, it has the most expensive real estate with unrealistic prices for Gurgaon property.

This study also showed that people choose a city with a political stability to live in or invest in property according to a report in TOI. When political stability was calculated in the NCR cities, Faridabad emerged as a stable city and Ghaziabad was determined as the least city. But with this survey there was no difference between the cities Noida and Gurgaon as both stood at equal political stability levels. But still people are interested in investing in plots and flats in Noida and property in Gurgaon.

With a well-planned development and well-developed infrastructure, Noida is not only best place to live but also best place to invest in real estate. It has well-laid roads, excellent connectivity to other nearby cities, proper water supply, drainage and sewage facilities and much more to aid a peaceful life. Also it has enough social infrastructures including schools, colleges, shopping malls, hotels, and health centres. Even Noida is at par with Gurgaon in offering employment to many with various planned IT parks and industries. Property in Noida always has good demand among NCR population as it has well-developed infrastructure, metro connectivity and well-laid roads. The real estate in Noida is moving in upward swing in a rapid pace with other new infrastructural developments in pipeline. The government has planned to enhance infrastructure facilities to take real estate development to the next level.

Though Noida is the best place to offer calm and best lifestyle to people, still some professional populace choose Gurgaon as it houses various corporate offices and companies. But if you wish to the good thing out of both cities, then you can work in Gurgaon and buy a flat in Noida and live here.
