by Ady Grewal Content writer
When Prophet Muhammad (SAW) proclaimed the Oneness of God, so Pagan Arab got furious as they felt the dominance of new faith against idolatry. They started to mount pressure on the Messenger of Allah (SWT) and his followers. They forced them to renounce their new faith but they all remained steadfast. On one occasion they sent a delegation to the caring uncle of Prophet (SAW), Abu Talib to warn him regarding proselytizing the new faith. On the other hand, Prophet (SAW) answered that if Quraysh put the sun in his right and moon in his left hand even he would not renounce the new faith.

And when Quraysh knew that the new faith would be dominated they planned to assassinate Prophet (SAW) but Allah (SWT) informed him through the revelation. Along with Abu Bakar (RA), they hid in the cave of Thawr which is richly visited by the pilgrims who avail cheap umrah packages Manchester to perform Umrah. Thus, Allah (SWT) ordered him to migrate from Makkah to Madinah. At last, several Muslims met Prophet (SAW) in Madinah and his family dwelled near the Masjid e Nabvi.

The life of Madinah proved incredible for Islam because several people entered new faith. While on the contrary, Quraysh did not digest the success of new faith and decide to fight against Muslims. When Prophet (SAW) came to know the intention of Quraysh, he (SAW) prepared the Muslim army that consisted of only 313 fighters against 1000 0f Makkan disbelievers. Both armies faced at the spot of Badar on Tuesday, 13th March 624 CE, 17TH of Ramadan. No doubt Muslims were 3rd of opponents, so the Messenger of Allah (SWT) prayed for the success of new faith and resultantly Allah (SWT) sent numbers of angels who stroke the face of disbelievers.

Eventually, the Muslim army got the victory by the grace of Allah and Quraysh compelled to leave the battlefield. However, the Muslims who got Martyrdom was the following:

• Haritha bin Suraqa al-Khazraji.
• Zish Shamalain Umair bin Abd Umro Al Khaza'i
• Rafi' bin al-Mu'alla al-Khazraji.
• Sa'd bin Khaythama al-Awsi.
• Safwan bin Wahb al-Muhajir.
• Aaqil bin al-Bukayr al-Muhajir.
• Ubayda bin al-Harith al-Muhajir.
• Umayr bin al-Humam al-Khazraji.
• Umayr bin Abi Waqqas al-Muhajir.
• Awf bin al-Harith al-Khazraji.
• Mubashshir bin 'Abdi'l Mundhir al-Awsi.
• Mu'awwidh bin al-Harith al-Khazraji.
• Mihja' bin Salih al-Muhajir.
• Yazid bin al-Harith bin Fus.hum al-Khazraji

These are some victorious names of the most memorable Sahabah, the best of the yield, whose names are pretty unfamiliar to us, but to whom the whole Ummah is truly grateful. What they devoted their lives for Islam certainly reformed the course of Islamic history. Today Islam is owed to those who laid down their lives for the survival of Islam and their signs of devotions are still perceived from those who arrange their visas by cheap December umrah packages the UK in order to proceed the religious duty in the Holy Kaabah

We should learn the lesson from each expedition of Islam. As for as Battle of Badar has concerned, so apparently, the Muslims were in few amounts while the opponents were in numbers but Muslims got a victory. Certainly, behind such true triumphed there was steadfastness, firm resolution, devotion, and determination of true believers who left their children and women just for Islam. No, it is the responsibility of every Muslim to take some certain steps to preach Islam.
