Manchester City is totally surprised by the fascinating performance from Everton
who were coming from a lost. City were all over the Everton side, and had 71%
of the procession but still they couldn’t find their way towards the nets. They
had only 6 shots on the goal and they all were stopped by the Everton goal
keeper.
Lakuku was the man of the moment, entirely destroyed the expensive
defense of Manchester City. Claudio Bravo was helpless in front of Everton. And
Pep was helpless, Messi is not everywhere to save his job. They are now 10
points away from Chelsea. The £24m signing of Morgan Schneiderlin lifted some gloom but
the roars for his 65th-minute appearance from the bench were dwarfed by the
noise in injury time when Lookman, newly arrived from Charlton, made his mark.
