Mini-football tournament for the Cup of Internal Affairs was held in Kokand

More than 300 sports fans took part in the competition between mahallas, organized by the Department of Physical Culture and Sports in cooperation with the Department of Internal Affairs of the city, among young people aged 18–30.

The first place, in the competitions held among 27 teams, won team of the "Ok oltin" mahalla, the second and third got the "Amir Timur" and "Mustakilliu" makhallas.

Team members who won prizes received medals and mementos from the head of the Department of Internal Affairs of the city, Colonel Farkhod Khasanov.

Measures to popularize physical culture and sports among young people are a key link in bringing up a healthy younger generation and creating a healthy gene pool of the country. This topic is put at the forefront by the President of the country. A number of decrees and resolutions adopted in this area allowed to bring the efforts taken in this direction to a new level.

Hundreds of modern sports facilities have been built in recent years across the country.
