Measures for the development of culture and arts are taken in Kokand
These issues were discussed at the meeting of the mayor of Kokand, Maruf Usmanov, with the Minister of Culture, Ozodbek Nazarbekov, during his visit to Kokand.
At the meeting, the issues of the development of culture and arts in Kokand, the selection of talented youth among schoolchildren, and subsequent involvement in the spheres of culture and arts were considered.
Honored Artist of Uzbekistan Jurakhan Pulatov, director of the branch Shamsiddin Usmanov, representatives of cultural and educational organizations working in this area took part in the meeting held in the Fergana regional branch of the State Institute of Culture and Arts of Uzbekistan.
The Art and Culture Development Foundation under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The Foundation is the initiator and author of legislation that creates a legal basis for patronage and non-governmental financial support of culture. These are the laws "on patronage", "on the target capital of non-profit organizations", as well as the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers "On approval of the model regulations on the boards of Trustees of cultural and art institutions"
