Microsoft Office Is Taking Too Long To Install On Mac
by Pammy Grace Microsoft Support 1-844-6513-666If the message appears as “Sorry it looks like you’re on a slow connection...” on the screen while installing Microsoft Office Applications, or the computer hangs during the install then, you need to cancel the installation and try the below-mentioned method.
First, you have to uninstall your MS office 2016 from the Mac and then reinstall it.
Follow the steps to remove from your system:
- Turn on Mac and go to Finder.
- Click Applications and then press Command button.
- Choose the MS office 2016 and then move it to Trash.
Now, the user has to delete files from the library folder. But, before moving ahead, go to Finder View options.
- Press Command + Shift + H key on the keyboard.
- Select the View button and then click View.
- Move to As List option from the list and then select View>Show View Options.
- Put the checkmark on the Show Library Folder and save the changes.
- Go back to the Finder and Open Library.
- Click Containers and press Ctrl button with a click on each folder (MS apps) to move to the trash. Make sure to backup Outlook data before deleting them all.

Once this is done, delete from the dock and restart.
- If any of the MS office applications are visible on the dock then, go to each one and remove them.
- Now, restart your Mac to complete the process.
