1. Start with skin care – Yes, use hydrating masks and opt for the best bullet proof moisturizer that suits your skin. Start this prep few hours before you are about to get finally ready. You don’t want your makeup to sit badly on your skin on your big day. So use masks on your skin a night before plus on the day of the wedding.

2. Use a good and dewy primer – If you have oily skin, go for a matte foundation but don’t skip on the dewy primer. Go for a dewy primer on your cheeks, a little on the forehead, cupids bow and chin. On the rest of your pores and discolouration, use a good primer. The dewy primer will make your skin glow and give you a radiant look while the perfecting primer will hide your pores plus it will help the foundation glide on smoother.

3. Don’t pile up on the foundation – Yes, if you are colour correcting with a concealer, skip too much product and avoid a highlighting concealer. Just use the foundation all over your face according to your skin type. Make sure you don’t pile up too much cream or powder as you might look too cakey. Also, don’t forget to set the foundation before it sinks into any lines on the face. 

4. Avoid contouring – Contouring can look a little too much during the wedding day. You must skip on the contouring and keep it simple. 5. Avoid smoky eyes or neon colours – Don’t go over to the top with the eye makeup. You can go for glitters but skip on neon colours or smoky eyes. You can just put glitter on the eyelids, winged liner, false lashes and you are good to go. You can just highlight the inner corners of the eyes and fill the waterline with a white or nude liner to make them look awake.
