Jardim da Estrela
It means Garden of the Star. It was built in 1842 and has an abundant vegetation. It’s one of the most beautiful park in the city, one that cannot be missed when visiting Lisbon.
It possesses an open terrace, two coffee kiosks, two lakes, two playgrounds, and a library. Also, people come all the time to exercise as there is equipment in the surround area. It comprises 4.6 hectares.
Jardim Zoológico de Lisboa
It’s the Lisbon Zoo. It was inaugurated in 1884 and is located in Sete Rios. It has animals from all over the world.
Here you will see elephants, lion,s koalas, monkeys, dolphins, among others.
It was first located in other facilities, but later transferred to the current place, in 1905.
