Know the rules of Miqat for pilgrims

Miqaat is, in fact, the place where pilgrims wear Ihram to perform the major or minor pilgrimage. Adni al-Hal is the first Miqat out of Haram that is allowable to wear Ihram from one of quintet familiar Miqats. Pilgrims who appear for Umrah al-Mufradah and go to Medina, so they can wear Ihram in Masjid Al-Sharjah or at least Juhfah. 

•    Pilgrims are not allowed to wear Ihram before Miqat. Pilgrims should wear Ihram in certain, yet in two conditions they must care about.

1-    If the pilgrims perform Nazr to wear Ihram before Miqat then it is necessary to undertake their Nazr from any place and restart of Ihram is not necessarily in Miqat.

2-    When pilgrims suspicion about Miqat or its similar place, so they can perform “Nazr of Ihram” before reaching the suspected place and let they wear Ihram from that Miqat. Yet, there is no change between mandatory or Mustahab Hajj; and Nazr of wife has no problem if it doesn’t distract her spouse.

•    Reaching Miqat should be confirmed by certainty among pilgrims or at least verification from one of the impartial pilgrim. In case of hesitation or not confirmed, then pilgrims are not allowed to wear Ihram.

•    Pilgrims who don’t know the place of Miqat are not permissible to wear Ihram on the base of the appearance of Hajj Umrah agents or leader of procession who let confirm the Miqat.

•    Pilgrims are not allowed to pass Miqat without wearing Ihram but only if they have confirmed that there is another Miqat on the way.

•    Pilgrims are not permissible to delay to wear Ihram deliberately.

•    Pilgrims who appear to perform Umrah al-Mufradah, they should go to one of the famous Miqats. However, they are not allowed to pass Miqat without Ihram. But if they cross, so they must return to the Miqat which they passed and wear ihram. Yet, if there is no possible way because of time shortage, then they can wear Ihram where they find the Miqat. 

•    If pilgrims, unfortunately, miss wearing Ihram at certain Miqat due to unawareness, so they are allowed to wear Ihram whenever they recall. If they are inside the Haram, they should go outside of Haram and wear Ihram. But if not possible then they are allowed to wear Ihram wherever they have their existence.

•    The pilgrims who arrive the holy sanctuary of Makkah through Hajj Umrah operators with Ihram of Umrah al-Tamatu, so it is permissible for them. 

•    If woman pilgrim is in her menstruation period and considers herself not permissible to wear Ihram and obviously doesn’t wear Ihram in Miqat, so she must make a sure reappearance to Miqat after ending the menstrual cycle. And if there is no possible way to go to Miqat then she is allowed to go out of Haram and wear Ihram at there. And if she cannot go outside then she is permissible to wear Ihram in place that she has. So, her Umrah is correct and there is no doubt.
