Jose Might Take Over PSG
After the disastorous performance by PSG in UEFA Champions League and recent departure of Jose Mourinho from Chelsea, might have opened new possibilities of Jose coming to PSG. According to some sources Jose Mourinho was recently approached by Paris Saint-Germain.
Nasser Al-Khelaifi (Chairman of PSG) approached Jose through his agend Jorge Mendes immediately after the departure of PSG from UEFA Champions League, although they performed quite well in their domestic league but still the fail to perform in Europe under the management of Laurent Blanc.
Although according to reports Mourinho is waiting to hear from Manchester United, and he will wait till end of the season. But still PSG is somehow a good choice for Mourinho to show his incredible skills.
Mourinho is known to have a friendship with Al-Khelaifi, which pre-dates the Qatari's ownership of PSG. Al-Khelaifi has tried to appoint the 53-year-old as manager twice before, and remains convinced the Portuguese is the man most likely to achieve the club's ambition of winning the Champions League.
The PSG Owner was quite disappointed after seeing the disastrous performance of PSG against City, and admitted Blanc took a "tactical gamble" by playing a three-man defence in the second leg, which they lost 1-0, eventually going out 3-2 on aggregate.
The manner of the defeat was branded a "fiasco" by sports newspaperL'Equipe, and despite the fact Blanc signed a new two-year contract in February keeping keep him at the club until 2018, Al-Khelaifi now wants Mourinho to replace him this summer.
PSG's way to deal with Mourinho won't go unnoticed among the Manchester United chain of command, who will audit Louis van Gaal's position toward the end of the season.
