JEE Advance Result 2016 – the aspirants of JEE Advance should brace themselves as the JAB is all set to announce the result shortly following which the seat allocation will start. The Joint Admission Board is all prepared to declare the highly awaited result of IIT JEE Advance Result 2016, for which the examination was conducted in the month of May 2016, on its official website on 12th June 2016. To view their result and further processes involved in it, the candidates will have to visit the official website of JEE Advance and enter the credential required therein. Once all the credentials are logged in, they would be showed their result and All India Rank. The further counselling process will be done as according the AIR of the candidates in their respective categories.
Following are the important dates for the IIT JEE Advance Exam 2016:
· Date of Exam of JEE Advance 2016: 22nd May 2016
· Availability of ORS and date of challenging it - first week of June 2016
· Release of Answer keys: 1st week of June 2016
· AIR and Marks Declaration: 12th June 2016
· Start of counselling process: Last week of June or first week of July 2016
The JEE Advance examination was conducted for those candidates who had secured more marks than the stipulated cutoff of respective categories. 1.5 lakhs students were selected on the basis of the cutoff and they were eligible for the examination. There are a round of 10000 seats in all the IITs and some other institutions and the candidates selected in this would require to clear the cutoff of JEE Advance to be able to sit in the examination.
How will the JEE Advance result 2016:
The IIT JEE Advance Result 2016 is calculated by adding the performances of the candidates in both written as well as in the Board examination. here is the Break-up of Marks:
· 60% - IIT JEE Exam marks
· 40% - Board exam performance.
· The candidates will also have to feature in the top 20 percentile of their respective board in order to feature in the JEE Advance Rank List.

- Download the result card for future usage.
